I'm really going to miss Jim and Max Carpenter and the maintenance guys when I leave. I've had a great experience living in an efficiency on Wilson St. They even let me put in some native plants around the parking lot. There's a table in our mailbox area where we neighbors leave messages and treats for each other. And great price for downtown! I will always be grateful to them.
Unresponsive management, rowdy neighbors at all hours of the night, stolen packages.. don't put yourself through it like I did.
BEST LANDLORDS! I have lived at 102 W. Wilson and 111 W. Wilson. Both properties are impeccably maintained and the Carpenter brothers are always attentive and friendly. My lake view apt. has one of the best views in the city. Highly recommend the apts. and the landlords! As another person mentioned, they are retro-fabulous.
WORST. LANDLORDS. EVER. Do not rent from them! They only want their money so once you've signed the lease you are on your own. And the building at 111 West Wilson is louder than hell plus they've entered my apartment without notice several times.
