I was seen rather quickly by staff and had sutures in place very beautifully by Leon. I was very grateful to see my skin come back together and would not hesitate to return. Also the center is very clean and comfortable. Thank you! (full disclosure- I work for Queens but have no affiliation with this staff or this clinic).
Dr. Ayesha Wilbourn is so awesome! I am in awe of how smart, compassionate and patient she is. Many doctors in her field are understandably burnt out and can sometimes invalidate people for not truly needing urgent care, but Dr. Wilbourn’s care and ability to remain compassionate to everyone is so special. Their services are fine and there's mostly good doctors, however WARNING THEY WILL NOT WRITE REFERRALS. Highly suggest going elsewhere if you think you'll need a specialist.
Rating: 1 Star Subject: EXTREMELY unprofessional care and concerning behavior I’d like to preface what I’m about to say by mentioning that I have fatal and severe allergies and have been through this many times before. I carry an epi-pen and I’m quite knowledgeable about the protocols and treatment of an allergic reaction. Receptionist very nice. Got called I got the back rather quickly, but have been sitting in room for over a hour. Nurse (Ashley) was very going over meds etc, nice she checked in on me couple times. Dr. Nguyen I believe her name was. Did not really listen or address my concerns or pain. Not sure what has happened to island urgent care. Not what used to be.
