Horrible experience today 2/14/25. Doctor didn’t listen and made assumptions and accusations. Had get care again after due to recurring issues. Got care later in hospital. Good front desk and nurses. Place totally changes depending on doctor. Follow up stopped by 7:15 wouldn’t take another patient hello you close at 8:00. Have time you are Queen’s not sure what has happened to this place I know high demands. Online states has X-ray one, but nobody is trained to use it. Often times care here is fine. They are Usually fairly quick (much quicker than the Kahala Queens Urgent care) and usually the doctors here treat me well as a male. However, my female partner was dismissed by Dr. Black. She had a really severe UTI and knew it but just needed to go to the doctor to get prescribed antibiotics. Dr. Black suggested that she was just constipated and tried to have her leave without properly assessing her symptoms. He was very dismissive towards her concerns. Ronald Black, MD immediately diagnosed me with an acetabular hip labral tear when my hip joint starting hurting back in June 2024. He then ordered an MRI arthrogram for me to assess for the severity of the soft tissue injury. He is a phenomenal physician and really cares about his patients. My only complaint is that he didn't refer me to the hip preservationist who surgically treats hip impingement and soft tissue tears, he instead sent me to a regular hip replacement doctor. Been battling Sinus infection for 8 days now. Came here to get some medicine. Wait time was 20 minutes. Dr Kauhane is the bomb! Super great bed side manners and gave me something to help me. Mahalo Dr. Kauhane! Appreciate you!
