We have had two dogs treated at Queen Village Animal Hospital (Grace and Cookie.) While no one likes to go to the doctor, both of our girls, once there, were put at ease by the compassionate and caring staff. Dr. Howard Wellens, the founder of the hospital, is a local guy and it is such a pleasure to walk around the neighborhood and for him to see Grace and Cookie, and for Grace and Cookie to be excited to see him. Of course, at the end of the day, it's about the quality of the care, and all I can say is, I wish they saw hum... read more
Dr. Y and the staff at Queen Village Animal Hospital are kind, knowledgeable, and enjoy the unique personality of the pets they treat. I know because my dog Lucho is a quirky guy. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and love of animals.
Thank you Queen Village Animal Hospital for taking such good care of my kitty. I heard such wonderful things about QVAH from friends and family so when I adopted my rescue kitty and needed a vet I knew this was going to be my choice. It was important for me to find a hospital where there is compassion for both the animals and the owners and where I felt I could completely trust the doctor taking care of my cat. I've had a great experience here. The vets are knowledgeable, understanding, respectful and helpful. I'm greeted wi... read more
To be perfectly honest, I don't feel safe taking my boys any place else but to QVAH. We moved to New Jersey over a year ago and still take Jake and Otis back for all their care. The front desk help is always more than friendly and happy to see not just my dogs but all the other clients that walk through the doors while I'm there. Even when I feel that something is wrong with one of the boys we always call and tell them the symptoms and the message is always passed on to our Vet followed by a return phone call with some care ... read more
They took care of my cat after a stroke. I think they care alot about the job they do.
My friends all told me to come to Queen Village for my pets. I recently moved here from California and was very happy with my vet there but had to come to Philly for my job. Along came my 2 cats and dog. I have been a client of QV for 6 months and thought they were awesome. The prices were reasonable and staff was welcoming. I saw Dr. Wellens and he was thorough and seem to genuinely care about my pets. He spent alot of time answering my silly questions and I found that to be refreshing. It came time to pay the bill and it w... read more
I would just like to say that I love Queen Village. I have been taking my kiddos there for almost 4 years now. I originally started out at Society Hill, but their prices were ridiculous and their staff turnover kind of says it all. Queen Village doesnt push me to buy things for the sake of spending money, but only gives my pup and 2 kitties what they need to live a long happy life with me.
Love Queen Village, their staff, and the decor! Appointments with vet are comprehensive and are great.
Always very competent and friendly. Always first rate service. I tried another vet and I'm back for good.
