We previously lived in the Cumberland area but moved away in 2011 and had not returned until this week. The Creamery was the first place we took our son (who is now 10 yrs old) as a newborn so of course we took him there for a treat. I remember that day in February 2007 so fondly because they allowed us to take him upstairs to avoid exposing him to the cold draft of the doors or the other patrons' germs. I will always remember that kindness and will always give them our business when we're visiting!

Driving from D.C. To Ohio, stopped to eat lunch. The chicken and rice soup was fantastic (was told it was made by the employee's grandmother). We also ate their daily frozen custard special..chocolate cake batter; heavenly. Highly recommend...Bypass the fast food nearby, and stop here.

My usual during the week is a Mini cone and the new , Western Maryland Lemonade. The Creamy ice cream and variety of flavors through the week , keep you coming back for something different. The lemonade is top notch as well , being locally made with a variety of flavors , natural ingredients and hand dated for freshness , you can't go wrong.
My daughter and I took the Mother's Day cupcake decorating class. It was fantastic. The Creamery supplied 5 cupcakes each for us to decorate. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We also ate dinner there. The pepper jack turkey pannini was delicious! We will definitely be back.
