Beautiful Gardens but HORRIBLE OWNER – I attended a wedding 07-30-11. Well kept, expansive gardens, but, the owner did her level best to ruin the wonderful feeling of that day. She berated attendees, vendors, and her own people to the point where no one wanted to deal with her. I guess she already HAD the money, so she didn't HAVE to think about being nice. Lovely venue, great value, and very accommodating. – Our wedding at the Queen Anne was fabulous, in no small part due to the efforts of Deb, Kiki, and the rest of the staff. I felt very attended to throughout the event and I thought the communication leading up to the wedding was great. DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! – I thought that this was going to be the wedding of my dreams. The Queen Anne Mansion is very deceiving and does not follow proper regulations. I fell in love at the bridal show and made follow up calls with many questions that were professionally answered by a coordinator who was very helpful and nice. Beautiful Location Ruined by BAD Customer Service – QAVM looks wonderful, has beautiful grounds and glows at night with all of their twinkle lights. If they combined that with completely new ownership and staff who were trained in proper customer care (especially for weddings) it would be the perfect place to have a wedding. Do not use unless you want to get ripped off. – This place sounded like it was going to be perfect for our wedding day during all the meetings we held. Then from other people that have had events there we started hearing things to look out for. If you decide to book here make sure that every little thing is wrote down. The staff seems very nice at first but you see their true colors when it is closer to the date and you are locked down. The BEST Day Ever – Our wedding this last summer at the Queen Anne was incredible. Our friends and family said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was awesome and the service was beyond what we expected. Our coordinator did things for us we hadn't even thought of. I am so glad she was running everything! The lit garden pictures made our album over the top, and we felt like royalty being waited on. We didn't have to do a thing but enjoy our day once we walked through that gate.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! – We got married at the Queen Anne and were VERY disappointed in their customer service. The Queen Anne was incredibly unprofessional and changed many things on us at the very last minute (as in a week before the wedding). It is a family run business that is unaware of how to be professional. We would discuss wedding details with one planner to find out a week later a different story from another planner. Beautiful location, mixed service – We got married at the Queen Ann 7*26*08. We choose the evening slot because the whole house lights up with beautiful golden lights, even the gardens. The months before the wedding we had a hard time getting in contact with them, we would call, and leave messages, and no one would return our calls. Very friendly, very accomodating, and beautiful grounds – My wife and I got married in June of 08, and we chose the Queen Anne Victorian Mansion for our outdoor ceremony and reception. Weather was thankfully perfect, and the grounds were beautiful. From the beginning, the new owner Deb was helpful, communicative, and ready to either give us ideas, or let us run with our own.
