Great value I eat at QV [at least] twice a month and, sure, I could find something to complain about at nearly every restaurant in town. Since this is an overall review, I will sum up my opinion; You cannot beat the overall dining experince. The portions are huge. dissapointing meal I had been to this restaurant several times over the past few years and the food was always supurb. We decided to go for my mother-in-laws birthday 11-15-08. The food was tasteless. I have never had this bad of a meal at any restaurant I have ever been to. The grilled shrimp were so gummy my daughter could'nt even eat them. Customer service? No customer service at all. The food was good but the staff leaves alot to be desired. I will not be returning anytime soon.
Bad food!!! I visited Quarter view on April 7, 2006 and ordered the stuffed trout. Upon receiving my food, the fish was not trout and in addition to being stuffed with crab meat it was also stuffed with paper. When I informed the waitress, she offered to bring me something else, so I ordered the stuffed crabs. Upon receiving the stuffed crabs, the crabmeat was spoiled. AMAZING! Quarter View is absolutely my favorite restaurant!!! These bad reviews are shocking. I will admit the boiled crawfish are not very tasty but the regular food menu is delicious! The servers are usually friendly and make you feel right at home. The stuffing they use for all seafood seems like it is made from scratch and the steak is sooooo tender! Very fresh seafood platters. I am shocked to see so many bad reviews. With a party larger than 6, I am sure ANY restaurant would not have 100% efficient service.
Enjoyed Myself We had a great time there.The service was good and the seafood platter was really delicious. Plenty of food. My wife enjoyed the Punch drink there. The kids enjoyed the chicken platter. A good experience.
Worst run place ever Quarter view is disgusting. The service is always horrible. The crawfish are reused from week to week when he does 99 cent promos. They have roaches, and the stuffed trout is not even trout. That should be against the law for Quarter View to not sel what they are offering. The veal is not veal. I am surprised the place is still open.
hungryone 3/29/11 Family of 3 waited almost 10 minutes for our order to be taken or to even be acknowledged by a server. We ordered chees stick for an appitizer and two of the entrees came with a dinner salad. The caesar dressing on the salad was tart and the marinara sauce was bland but very chunky. It's ok They are very slow, the wait to be seated can take up to 45 minutes. Parking is a pain and near by businesses will tow if you park in their lots. I have also seen a roach on the floor during lunchtime. The food is good and cheap though.
