The location is immediately off the 101 freeway any quick drive to Monterey. The rooms themselves were the issue. The carpets had huge stains and mold throughout the bathroom. The broom was in desperate need of a renovation and repairs as well as a deep cleaning. Not even the ice machine worked. I would never stay here again.
Can I do a half star? The front desk guy is rude, and confusing. There were multiple broken items in our room(106). The fan in the bathroom is really loud and the shower head looks like it needs replaced. The floors against the wall and in the corners were gross, you can tell that housekeepers don’t move things when they clean. My blanket had cigarette burns in it. The microwave and fridge were dirty. Worst place ever! No washcloths, crappy manager , crappy pillows. Dirt in every corner, pubic hairs in the shower. Stained furniture, very gross!
Disclaimer- I have never stayed here! I came into town for a family emergency and called this hotel about booking a reservation( I am titanium with choice and Marriott) when the manager got on the phone I was quoted a 500 dollar deposit for the room as if I was calling a ritz Carlton. When I asked him to repeat the deposit to me thinking I may have misheard him he got an attitude with me. As soon as I walked in, the front desk guy(mike I believe) kept looking at me up and down, didn't say a single word. Was extremely unpleasant, rude, and has no business being in hospitality. I had a reservation here, had a confirmation number, credit card, id, and EVERYTHING ready. Mike just said the reservation doesn't exist, walked into his room and shut the door in my face. No explanation or courtesy to try to find a solution. I just left, contacted Expedia and my reservation did exist, but after that I just got a refund ... read more
