I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Big Woods Bloomington. They are respectful, friendly, and have consistently gone out of their way for me. It took a few weeks for the cook staff to work out their new menu, but the food is now better than ever. It's flavorful, well-portioned and service is quick, even when the restaurant is packed. Also, the Beer Garden is a great place to kick back with a beer (and play some Jenga). I particularly reccomend the Hoosier Tenderloin Sandwhich, and their Pumpkin Ale beer.
Excellent beer and very good bartender...even with my wife asking him 21 questions and wanting to sample several of the beers he was always happy to oblige...Ribs were very good...the wedges needed to be cooked more...ask for crispy!
Love the beer!!! Busted Knuckle worth the trip!!!! Plus the menu and food rock!
