Sick Artists, Friendly Shop – Gene at Pussycat hooked me up with a great custom piece. I'm not an artist, so I was able to tell him what I was looking for and he did a lot of research to come up with the perfect design. His work speaks for itself; all I can say is that I will go back to Gene as long as he stays in Portland for all future work. Gene, is great artist – Calling the pussycat tattoo at the beginning of choosing the place to get my first tattoo was what sealed the deal. Their receptionist is great! After I went in and talked with her made a few sketches scheduled my tattoo she put my nerves at ease. Gene my tattoo artist was great he had drawn out a great tattoo for me and he is quite the entertainer. Saad is the man – Pussycat tattoo is the only ink house in portland where I will ever get a tattoo again. Saad did my last (4th) for me and I am running back there this weekend! What a great experience and unbelieveable color and work, it was funny for almost 6 months people I ran into thought my tattoo was removeable due to the vibrant color... The only reason they still don't say that is not because the ink faded, but because well, everyone has seen it!
Above All. :) – I just got my first tattoo (about 3 months ago) and Gene who worked on my tattoo was wonderful. I told him it was my first time, and he made my first experience very comfortable. He will let you know when he's going to start tattoo-ing you so you don't get frightened, and starts up a conversation so that you would "literally" forget about the pain of the needle.
