I love balloon animals and my new tattoo! – I first found out about Pussycat thru City Search so I figured I might be helpful to leave a review for others. I just got a wonderful tattoo done by Gene Hannan at this shop. I was nervous and he, true to the other review I read, made me a balloon animal and had me laugh so hard I couldn't be nervous. took great care of my family – I would like everyone to know how much I adore these folks. The first time I came in to Pussycat Tattoo, Rose helped my daughter. She was a little skittish, but Rose walked her through the motions and she got an absolutely stunning piece of work from Gene Hannan. He even made her a balloon animal to put her mind at ease (a giraffe, if I remember correctly). Best tattoo shop enywhere!!! – Last year I went and got a couple of roses and some knot work on my neck to cover something up. Not only was the environment very chill but my tattoo looks wonderful. I have never gotten more compliments and the colors are still bright. I recommend this shop and Matt Shaver to all my friends and anyone who asks me about my tattoos.

When I finish a tattoo for a client I try to remind them that once the tattoo is healed if there's anything that doesn't look right to them to come back and I will touch up the tattoo for free. Don't go to Matt Shaver! – I just got my first tattoo from the pussycat a few days ago. I have never seen a tattoo that looked like a five year old did it. It was a very simple and basic design and it looks awful. When he put the outline on my skin it looked good but then he didn't stay in the lines, The color is not what I asked for, and I was also way overcharged. Now i'm stuck with this little child drawing on me and it is humiliating!
The Best Tattoos – I have got 2 tattoos from Pussycat. I got one in 2001 and the other in 2002 and they are both still very colorful and beautiful. The second one I got was drawn by one of the artists. I had lost a daughter and he made it special for me. I would recommend Pussycat Tattoos to everyone. They are the best!
Best Portland Area Tattoo Shop, Period. – Saad at Pussycat just finished a phoenix tattoo for me and did an AMAZING job. The colors and attention to detail he put into it are simply amazing. Everyone at Pussycat is very skilled, helpful, friendly, and personable. The atmosphere is wonderful, the establishment is clean, and they really make you feel comfortable with your tattoo experience. No other place matters - Pussycat RULES!
A little gem... – I found Pussycat online, and it had great reviews and sample work, so I decided to trust them with my first tattoo. The staff talked everything through with me and answered all of my questions. If something wasn't perfect, the stencil, the width, etc, they fixed it until I was happy. J.D., the artist, used the correct sterilization methods and did great work. Where else can you discuss Zora Neal Hurston while getting inked?
