Great food, nice Brooklyn location. Celebrated a friend's birthday there on Sun. 1/31/2016. Only minor problems was the wait service and the Q train was not running. But that didn't dampen a great time at Purple Yam. I was unaware that the owner/chef thanked us on the way out, until I saw his photo on the Purple Yam's FB page. We'll visit again.
Exceeded my expectations, you have to experience it. Food fit for royalty, a Michelin best New York restaurant!
I haven't eaten in Purple Yam for three years(only because the Arlantic Ocean is between us!) and I can still smell the amazing aromas. Can't wait to move back to Cortelyou in September and have another delicious dinner at Purple Yam. :)
