We have given this restaurant several chances. They do not listen to your requests. We wanted moist brisket and bread. We got lean and buns. This was a to go order and silly us, we didn't take the food out of the bag and check. Also, there was no barbecue sauce this visit. Very disappointed. Will not be back.....can't review the food because we NEVER got waited on! We finally just left and went down the road to Milano's Pizza. The thing that was aggravating is that they weren't even busy! I had been there a few years back, and it was good. Don't know what the deal was.
Recommended🐖🐖 best ribs I have ever ate.. I definitely recommend the ribs and brisket
Can't really rate the food because we never got waited on. Walked in, seated ourselves. Waiter served the people behind us, then cleaned off a couple of tables. It wasn't crowded, but no one ever came over to greet us or give us a menu. We walked. Apparently you have to be a regular to get service.
We had fish and it was very good! BUT, we will not be back, the fish was good but we can get good fish at other places! The playing in the kitchen and the kids that obviously belonged to one of the cooks or wait staff continuously kicked the back of my seat and ran all over the kitchen and dining area!!!! Obviously it is now being managed by an incompetent manager or someone who does not take pride in their work!
My fried mac and cheese were ON POINT! But the fried dill pickles were so salty none of us could eat more than 2. I was so excited to try the fried pickles and was so disappointed. Whoever made them can cut back like ALOT on the salt...I'd go back if someone promised me they wouldn't be too salty to eat. � it completely ruined the dill flavor :(
My wife and I were in the mood for some good barbecue. We learned when this happens in the future to stick with Stanley’s. Walked in and searched for a clean table and settled for the least dirty booth. Ten minutes in we still hadn’t been noticed. I played it safe with the purple pig sandwich and potato salad.
