We love this restaurant .
I am traveling from out of state and chose this place because it was close to our hotel. Lucky me. The brisket was so good. I could cut it with a fork. It was very good as it came but the house bbq sauce made it that much better. The sides were also very good. Nothing fancy but the Mac and cheese was very good as was the cole slaw. I am kind of sad to be moving along because I would like to try the other meats on the menu.

I called at 8:40. I knew they closed in about 20 minutes so I wanted to make a simple to go order. Maybe some smoked meat whatever they had available with a couple of sides no big deal. I was rudely told no, that I could not make a to go order. I was literally 2 minutes away after a long day at work. She then proceeded to tell me the drive thru was shut down and I was going to have to come inside if "I had to eat there". She's exactly right.....I don't have to eat there. SMH

My sons and I went there after a fishing trip on Lake Palestine about 3 months ago.We just happened their by chance and had a great time. They were a little short on help and explained this too us; however, the wait was not long. One son is a vegan and they were very accommodating in helping him with his choices. Everyone was very professional and hospitable. We even saw a real wild pig, Lol. We speak of this place to our friends often and I'm planning on stopping by next time I'm near there.
