RecommendedHad an appointment today at Pure Aveda Salon and Spa for the first time. I received a color, cut, and style by Samra, and I can't say enough amazing things! I felt so safe, Samra was great in her consultation. She interpreted everything I wanted, and followed through flawlessly! Finally found my "go-to" here in Iowa.

⚠️ warning!!!! ⚠️ Do not go to Aveda Pure Salon and Spa. What they did to me still makes me sick to my stomach. I paid of 1000 for extensions that were done by their "expert in Ankeny (owner owns the business in Indianola as well) and they didn't even get the right color or measure our heads or add enough beads. They canceled last minute several times after almost arriving to the business. While trying to ask the technician for the result I wanted and if it could be obtained, she said to use purple shampoo and that would fix... read more
Many years ago I went there and had a horrible experience. I recently tried it again and had a fantastic experience. I recommend this salon. Very good experience. Carissa was fantastic!
