Best Work Out – I've pretty much tried everything from super expensive gyms to yoga and pilates. Taking the same classes, same people, and hitting a wall physically and mentally, I was really bored. That's when I read about PPBC. It sounded really radical and I was super nervous since I am not a star athlete, but within one day of attending PPBC class, I was hooked. What is fantastic about PPBC is that your body can never get used to the work out and plateau because class differs from day to day & week to week. The class not... read more

completely overrated and overcrowded – If you are in "decent" shape do not bother. Class is full of out of shape girls who can't do pushup, so of course it seems hardcore...I am fit but by no means in unbelievable shape...and I thought i was a waste of time. If there were different class levels, it would be different story, but after my 6 weeks of 4x a week workouts, I did not lose a pound or an inch...and spent too much time waiting for other seemingly "never been to a gym in their lives" people and I paid alot of money for... read more

Tough, effective, and worth the investment! – I joined the program in August 2006, because I really needed to kick my fitness routine up several notches (beforehand, my enthusiasm for spin classes at Equinox had been steadily waning); I had heard about PPBC from a friend who had done it a year before, and when I found out another one of my friends was signing up, that made the decision easier for me. This has honestly been one of the most transformative experiences I have ever had; physically it has pummeled me into shape, a... read more

Greatest, Life Changing Program...Changes Your Body, Mind, and Soul – My fitness had its ups and downs, more downs than ups, and that cycle, not only was harmful to my physical health, but took its toll on my emotional health as well. My experience with gyms and fitness programs always felt competitive; they were focused on achieving unrealistic results; and this led to continued disappointment. To say Lauren Brenner?s Pure Power Bootcamp Program has changed my life would not be an exaggeration. I lost 33 pounds and 4 inches... read more

Pure Power Bootcamp Rocks! – If you're looking to inject some fun into your fitness routine, or are looking to get into shape but not motivated enough, I suggest you give Pure Power Bootcamp a try. Before joining PPBC, I hated working out (hated!) but the place has got me hooked. I've been going there 3-4x a week over the past few months. The workout is intense, the instructors are great -- believe me, these guys have proven to me that I could do more than I thought I could (Hello, obstacle course!) -- plus the camaraderie b... read more

What a workout – Because of the good press and publicity on Boot Camp's workout regime the classes are increasingly more crowded with less and less room to workout freely in your groups. If you like smaller classes with more individualized attention, this isn't the place for you. The workout itself is great if you are able to take full advantage of the weights, stairs, obstacle course and floor space; unfortunately, often it's been toocramped. And, with only one or two drill instructors per 16+ people, it's too much for such... read more

Obstacle course/DIs great - but watch out – Obstacle course excellent; DIs CJ, Wong and Ruben are great motivators. But potential clients should watch out for themselves. Crowding- Following extensive print and TV coverage this summer, classes often so crowded there was not enough room on the wooden floor for calisthenics. When there was not enough room on the obstacle course for everyone, recruits were asked to do 2 flights of stairs between obstacles. Since they had done 12 flights previously, this appeared to be busywork.... read more
