terrific workout / fun environment / real results – If you're looking for a terrific, fast paced workout that gives you the most of every minute (there is no wasted time here), Pure Power Boot Camp is for you! The instructors are high energy, no non-sense former military who really get you going. This is a tough, yet encouraging environment. The the kicker.... instructors are all beautiful! PPBC truly transforms your body. Just give it 3 months, and you will have your best body ever! I have seen terrific results, and I have ... read more

Get ready to sweat, and pay up – I give PPBC 3 stars to average out a 5-star workout with 1-star customer service. I joined PPBC almost two years ago, when I was a pudgy benchwarmer. Now, thanks to consistent boot camp attendance, I have transformed myself into a rippling beast of untamed sexual fire. The instructors know exactly how to push you out of your comfort zone and test the very upper limits of your stamina and strength. You can't do pushups right now? You will. Can't do pullups? You will. Hate to run? You're gonna ... read more

The workout of your life – Imagine a workout where you do jumping jacks to raise your heart rate and maybe at the end to lower your heart rate. Each day has a different concentration, be it abs, arms, legs but you can count on challenging every muscle every time. I can not say enough good things about the program and the staff. Sans the cost, which might not fit all budgets, I was surprised to read negative reviews. I have attended small classes and large classes and find both hour workouts equally challenging. No matter the... read more

The Best thing I ever did for myself!! – Pure Power Boot Camp is the best thing I ever did for myself. I joined back in February 2008. I never worked out before, and went in cold turkey. I felt I needed to be pushed and motivated. I joined without ever seeing the gym, just the brouchure. Called Lauren the owner, who is truely Amazing! Signed on, and when I started, my husband gave me a week and said I wouldn't last. Boy was he wrong and truely satisfied with my results. It is now over 2years I have been going and loving it. ... read more

Great Concept but Not as Promised – I joined Pure Power Boot Camp as a trial member for 6 classes. I think this "Gym" has great potential and its concept is unique to the public; however, the few times I attended, classes tended to be a little crowded with over 15+ people. Occasionally, there was only one instructor in the morning. Other classes run with over 20 members and 2 trainers. Obviously, it could be very hard to get a really good work out in an over-crowded exercise class environment. According to their website, eve... read more

Buyer Beware – BUYERS BEWARE! Before spending your money at Pure Power Boot Camp (PPBC) look at what you get for the money and look at other boot camp programs in the area. PPBC is overpriced and doesn’t compare to other boot camp programs. I joined PPBC for twenty-four one hour sessions, four per week. Most sessions were limited to sixteen clients and two trainers. The first half hour consisted of running, jumping jacks, and all sorts of sit-ups, push-ups, lunges and squats. The sessin was split into two groups for the seco... read more

Tough but comfortable – I was scared as hell when I called to schedule my Groupon appointments.. and boyyy did I have reason.. Even though the staff and instructors are very comforting, theres nothing they can do to help the fact that I AM COMPLETELY OUT OF SHAPE!! Don't get me wrong I do pilates and workout religiously at the gym but NOTHING compared to this... I love love love the workout, the atmosphere and most of all the HOT instructors :).. Definitely signing up for a Tour of Duty to get my body ready for the summer!!

Courage & Respect? – Wow, my first time at boot camp, I was thinking...."I made the right decision" by spending my money at PPBC instead of another class or pt, and there are a lot of choices. Besides the occassional overcrowded class [I took mostly in the evenings], I loved it. I even raved about it to other folks encouraging them to visit and see what it's all about. That is until the end of my 5th week. Due to several factors & circumstances, I was injured and ultimately had to have surgery. Please note that I'm in no way... read more

If you want to get in shape... sign up. – Pure Power Rocks! I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was sold from day one when I took my first class taught by the owner herself. After class I approached her, and asked "how much weight to people normally lose during the program?", she responded "We do not use scales here. I do not care about numbers. I care about how you feel, and I care about your dress size." I smiled, walked away, and continued with the program. Personally, I havent steped on a scale yet, but I... read more
