I took part in the April 7th, 2018 Pure Detroit 2+ hour walking tour, of the massive abandoned Packard Motor plant in Detroit, now being renovated. Not sure it was worth the $40 spent, but it got me back onto the property to shoot more photos. I have in the past visited the old plant on my own, but this was a rather tame and safe guided tour. Went on BOTH tours at the Guardian building and Fisher building and they were both great! The tour guides are have great personalities and make it fun! And it’s free! (tips are always nicely suggested, and worth giving!) thanks guys for the tours and making these tours possible!
Just took my second tour with Pure Detroit, first one was the Fisher and now the Guardian building. It was absolutely wonderful, and I was once again not disappointed. I love my city, and I love learning more about it every chance I get! Thank you to our tour guides for teaching us just how beautiful Detroit is inside and out �

The Fisher Building tour was fantastic! Jacob led the tour and was engaging and funny. Although I haven’t been on many tours in general, he was the best so far. He had vast knowledge of the history of the building, as well as the city. It was a lot to take in, but I came back the next day with some people who couldn’t make it and gave them a mini version of it.
