We toured the Packard Plant on Sat June 16, and I thought the architectural explanations related to AKA were really interesting, e.g. the mushroom columns that could bear more weight across a wider span, and the use of rebar in concrete columns.
Loved the tour of the Packard plant. Learned alot from our tour guides and would highly recommend it. The history of the plant, it's owners and engneers was very interesting.

Toured the Packard Plant, it was exceptional! Mike, our guide, was a fountain of information. So much so, that the tour ran 30 minutes over- but no one left! Also saw the Guardian building, amazing! Fisher building, next year. John Paval Stkn. Ca.
My husband, son, and myself took the tour of the Fisher building, and it was awesome! Our tour guide, Ryan, was extremely knowledgeable and gave a very informative history of the building, all while keeping it fun and entertaining. Plenty of opportunity to take photos, and you can’t beat the Detroit skyline view from the 22nd floor! Highly recommend both the tour and the shop!
