I shop for Shipt and both guys I just asked for help with in the meat Dept were VERY condescending and treated me like an idiot. NOT APPRECIATED when I’m shopping for YOUR customers!
I went to Publix today after getting off work. I love Publix, but usually shop at Kroger because it’s closer. I went there specifically to get a low carb wine that they don’t carry at Kroger. My license expired in April and I have a letter from the state that gives me an extension for 6 months due to Covid. It’s never been a problem anywhere else I have gone. RecommendedDue to covid 19 my daughter missed out on her 5th grade Daddy daughter dance at her school. She was really looking forward to this and I also enjoyed these special dances for my daughter and her Dad. I decided to create a special dance party at home. I asked the bakery to help me come up with a cake design that wasn't too overwhelming since it would just be our family attending. The ladies I worked with were so sweet and full of ideas. Publix is an amazing grocery store. They are the cleanest grocery store I have ever been in. Publix has everything you need. The Bogo items are great. If you need dessert head to the bakery you will not be disappointed.
I have always loved Publix! The aisles are neat and the staff is friendly. A store manager even made my sub because the deli was short staffed. Amazing!
The new self checkout machines are terrible! They always fail, sit and spin and require you to insert your card twice, or require employee intervention. To add to the mess, they were giving out free grocery bags yesterday that the new kiosks don’t like, requiring even more employee involvement! And they’re really proud of your machines so far, and won’t listen when you tell them they’re dysfunctional. I’ve been coming here for years but am now going elsewhere until they get this straightened out. Why not use Apple Pay?
We were visiting the Cool Springs area and I knew they had a Publix, and so it was a MUST for our quick trip to the area. My friend and I are both transplants to NE Arkansas from Florida and greatly miss the Publix deli. It didn’t disappoint!! The sammi’s we picked up for the road were awesome as was the Savory Tarragon Chicken Salad, 12 grain bread and Key Lime Pie!! Please come just a little farther West!!!
