Opened in 1771 by Colonel Ebenezer Crafts, the Publick House Historic Inn offers a charming and historical stay. The inn was used during the American Revolution as a training ground for soldiers and rumor has it that George Washington even stopped by. In fact, Publick House has always been an inn and restaurant except during World War II when it was used by the army. RecommendedFirst time staying here. My son and I had a great time.
The food and the wait staff were exceptional. We arrived early and were seated immediately anyways. Our waitress, Lillian, was wonderful. Thank you for the perfect end to a stressful day.
