Opened in 1771 by Colonel Ebenezer Crafts, the Publick House Historic Inn offers a charming and historical stay. The inn was used during the American Revolution as a training ground for soldiers and rumor has it that George Washington even stopped by. In fact, Publick House has always been an inn and restaurant except during World War II when it was used by the army.
