AVOID AT ANY MEANS!!!!! – False advertising, unsafe vehicles, ridiculous lies, unwillingness to help with their problem vehicles. Bought on 03/01/2010 and transmission went on 03/02/2010 in less than 100 miles. Bought an extended warranty only to be told we are not in the system and it's a pre-existing condition. If there was an option to not even put one star I would have picked it. I am extremely unhappy with my experiences with Public motors of OC. I was looking around for a particular car because i found one that i loved at a diferent dealership but with more miles on it than I would have like so I found one online with 31,000 miles at PM of OC. When I got there it was exactly what i saw online, but we started the car and the odometer had over 100,000 miles on it. Dont even think about it – never buy anything from them, beside everything that everyone else said(which is true), they are very good lairs, all they want is your money. be aware, the cars they sell are not even safe to drive. i bought a car when i asked they said they have checked everything for the safety, it was not even 2 weeks from the day i got the car that the break started failing..... for real!!! in the highway!!!! i bought a 2004 volvo with only 70 k mileage.now they dont even answer my calls, i had to drive there ... read more
A lie that at best wastes one's time, and that may cost you a lot of money too if you are not quick on your feet! OC Public Motors should be flagged out of sites that honestly advertise used cars. Bad Business – I bought a car for 13000+ which I thought I have a good deal as I was thinking that they are own by the government because of the name. unfortunately when I surf and went to the dealer it cost only 7500+. They informed me that they will get me back my warranty a 1100 refund if I signed the contract for financing. Until now it was only in words and they don't even answer the phone or call you back. Bought a 2003 Audi A4, which they constantly tried to drive the price up on. The car instantly need $600 worth of repair after buying. If you like cars held together by duck tape...this is your spot. -D
