Bad Experience – DO NOT ever think of buying a car from here!! The do not answers to your queries. I was lucky enough not to break a deal with them. Later, I saw these reviews and tried to relate with my experience. Worst Dealer ever. – WOW. I am truely amazed at this post. Mainly because its the EXACT same thing that happened to me. Bought a 02 Ford Explorer, The day after i bought it i was driving down the highway and the Check Transmission light came on. I went through a whole ordeal where they had not processed the paperwork for the warranty, and actually had the balls to tell me that i had to pay the deductable. . AVOID AT ANY MEANS!!!!! – False advertising, unsafe vehicles, ridiculous lies, unwillingness to help with their problem vehicles. Bought on 03/01/2010 and transmission went on 03/02/2010 in less than 100 miles. Bought an extended warranty only to be told we are not in the system and it's a pre-existing condition. DO NOT EVEN SET FOOT ON THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A USED CAR LOT. Dishonest, false everything, they claim a 115 point inspection but it's more like a 5 point look over. Dont even think about it – never buy anything from them, beside everything that everyone else said(which is true), they are very good lairs, all they want is your money. be aware, the cars they sell are not even safe to drive. i bought a car when i asked they said they have checked everything for the safety, it was not even 2 weeks from the day i got the car that the break started failing..... for real!!! in the highway!!!! i bought a 2004 volvo with only 70 k mileage.now they dont even answer my calls, i had to drive there ... read more
A lie that at best wastes one's time, and that may cost you a lot of money too if you are not quick on your feet! OC Public Motors should be flagged out of sites that honestly advertise used cars. save yourself the time and agony – As a recent college grad in dire need of a cheap & reliable car, i was attracted to OC Public Motors beacuse of their economic prices that they so heavily advertise online. Bad Business – I bought a car for 13000+ which I thought I have a good deal as I was thinking that they are own by the government because of the name. unfortunately when I surf and went to the dealer it cost only 7500+. They informed me that they will get me back my warranty a 1100 refund if I signed the contract for financing. Until now it was only in words and they don't even answer the phone or call you back.
