Excellent, interesting, and tasty food, such as Brussels sprout tacos. A proper range of styles on draught, with malts as well as hops given the respects due. And very dog friendly, to the extent of providing not one but two water bowls on the patio, which itself is situated conveniently adjacent to a hiking trail.
The last two times we have been there, the food was not good. I had a piece of chicken that was like eating rubber and then my “medium well” burger came out looking pretty rare. In both cases the server handled the situation very well and corrected the issue....but makes me think again about going back.

Hi Rachel, so sorry you had a couple of poor experiences with our food! We are aware of the chicken issue — it was a problem from the vendor but has been corrected. I’m not sure why it happens, but we received a batch that was a little rubbery. We use fresh free-range Petaluma chicken and it’s always very good. Sorry about the meat temp on the burgers too. Met at the front door with a smile, felt inviting. Cache at the bar was beer savvy. And we had a conversation about how bad the niners are gonna be. And how my raiders are the best.. he recommended the burger with jalapeño aioli, fresh jalapeño and pepper jack cheese. And I got it medium rare. And it was perfect!!! Yes perfect... hard to find anymore. Fries we’re fried to perfection. So it was over quick. Beer was good. Great selection!!!

We come here when we go through Petaluma to the coast. Usually dining in, this time only having a couple beers with a to-go order..We left happy with a tied bag and couldn't wait to eat. We drove to out destination and found out the part of our order was not there. �� called in. Told them that we would be back in a couple of days on our way home. Round #2. Came in..waited 10 minutes for a drink..explained the circumstance and waiting another 10 minutes for our beers (and appetizer) which was delivered by another waitress. Af... read more
We just ate here for the first time tonight. Moved here 19 months ago. Our server was awesome, friendly staff. Our server seemed super slammed, but was on top of everything, friendly, brought everything quickly etc. Aces. The food is phenomenal. Straight forward, no frills, good ingredients, tasty as hell. We are coming back for sure and our little one loved it too. Cheers.
