I spoke w/ Dr. Lane 4-5 times total. She was over 30 min. late to 2 of my appointments (not bc she was dealing w/ another client.) At the end of my last session, she STILL didn't know my name or anything about me. When I met w/ Dr. Polek I was unsure of him based on what I walked away w/ vs what my issues were. I called 5 Psychs in the Bham area, & my previous Psych in Auburn- the ones that knew of Psychiatry 280 told me they had heard negative things about Dr. Polek. That doctor is a jerk. I visited the practice as a new patient, and the receptionist needed my drivers license. Two weeks later, it was a Saturday night and I was leaving for a cruise the next day and looked in my wallet to realize that the receptionist had forgotten to give me my license back. She never gave me a call or anything to tell me that she had it in her possession. Never treated so bad in my life...was told he wasn't going to put. His neck on the line for me...I have had such a traumatic last 4 years of my life and the man didn't even want to talk to me really..very cold hearted and uninviting..I would not waste my money on this poor excuse for a Dr. If. I would even call him that...worst bed side manor I have ever experienced.
