Really not as bad as you may have heard. Visited a friend here who had a benign, slightly boring, but overall helpful experience. Visiting hours are always a full hour and run smoothly, give or take a few extra minutes waiting to start. I was able to see my friend up to 3x/week and drop off paperback books and photos for them whenever I wanted.
