The rooms are quaint with a great location right off St. Charles and free parking. The pitfalls are that the hotel is extremely noisy with loud clattering of the metal stairs shaking the whole room. Tip is to ask for a room on the top floor (unless you don't have the strength to haul your bags up the stairs...there is no elevator) as you can hear every creak of the floor above you.
