Dr. Prudent is a very knowledgeable psychiatrist but his compassion towards me was tough on me. I was in the hospital for a serious case of Sepsis. I got out of the hospital October 12 with a heavily bandaged knee and pain. I thought I had let Craig, the office manager, know that I can't make my October 16 appointment due to my situation. We actually did a zoom session in which I of course, I paid for it as usual, but here is the upsetting part. I have been a patient of Dr. Prudent for many, many years. He charged me $150 fo... read more
Dr. Prudent was extremely rude and over talked me during our entire conversation. He raised his voice and displayed aggression when I raised mine back. I would not recommend anyone struggling with mental health see him.
I am a psychologist who has shared a number of clients with Dr. Prudent over the past 15 years, and he has always treated our mutual clients with respect and the utmost care. He works beautifully with clients with multiple diagnoses, never overprescribes and works diligently to understand and treat and manage client’s symptoms, attending to client priorities and side effects. He is an absolute gem!
Dr Prudent has always listened, never over prescribes, and when I ask questions he answers directly or refer me for testing. After a few years of seeing him for medication management, I have reached a point of having a solid plan for my future health. I feel safe with him and am always treated with professionalism, consideration, and respect.
I was a patient of Dr. Prudent's for several years and he is definitely one of the best in the business! I would still be seeing him if my insurance had not changed. It is not always the case for a psychiatrist to include an hour of talk therapy at each session, but he does. I would highly recommend Dr. Prudent.
He is Simply Perfect! I had no idea what to expect but was impressed from the start. Doctor Prudent has a welcoming, calming presence, is talented, timely, kind, organized and frankly a pleasure. He listened to me carefully, determined a starting regimen, explained how each option affected my brain and then tweaked my regimen a bit until my previously debilitating depression over the early loss of my beloved husband was under control for the first time. I couldn't hope for more - thanks, Doc!
Prudent misdiagnosed me and poly-drugged me out of my mind. Like most shrinks he attributed iatrogenic symptoms of bad drugs to an "underlying disorder" prescribing more drugs, compounding the problem. I received a Bipolar II diagnosis from Prudent. He said: "I have seen you now for two years and I struggle to diagnose you. The more I treat your symptoms, the worse they become, or more symptoms crop up. It's a very elusive." But he never screened me. I was screened in 2012 and I failed the test!
Smart, compassionate, experienced doctor. Organized, respectful and very kind. My experience has been extremely positive over several years of treatment.
