everything about the organization and how care is conducted in this place is terrible and unethical. two providers have some idea of what a patient needs from a provider but no one had any kind of inkling of how to treat an ill person especially someone experiencing one of the worst hours of life. anyone with illnesses that are not visible to the naked eye and are beyond the most basic antibiotic or bandaid, save yourself the trouble and go to MU or the ER.
RecommendedProvidence Urgent Care on Stadium and Nifong are the best Urgent Care centers ever. I have used both and have never waited more than 10 minutes to see a Doc. They take great care of their patients and even call later to make sure you are doing better. I give them 10 ⭐️.
They sent me to collections without ever receiving a bill! When I posted on Facebook about my experience, it had happened to 2 other friends. How many people are they not sending bills to and then sending them to collections?!?!?! I have good insurance and had to pay $120 out of pocket! Ridiculous!
When a patient comes in after vomiting and having diarrhea all night and is cramping from dehydration, this clinic refused to give fluids based solely on a slightly elevated BP. Never taking into account or even looking at any other vitals or listening to the patient! Now we are out the copay with no help after waiting in the waiting room for 2 hours. Went to providence urgent care yesterday. While I was there I was told I had a nasty infection which could lead to a kidney infection and hospitalization. My discharge papers state I should go to the local women’s and children’s hospital for further evaluation and treatment. As instructed I went to the hospital to find out everything was fine. I couldn't have asked for better treatment while passing through Columbia and needing medical treatment for a dog bite wound. Dr. Joni and her staff were all wonderful. After receiving a tetanus shot and prescription for antibiotics, I was on my way. Thank you for everything.
