One of the worst hospital experiences I’ve ever had, and the nurse we dealt with made an already traumatic situation even worse. I went to this place because I was having trouble breathing. Then they tried to charge me close to $8000 after they did virtually nothing. And before anyone says "that's just how much medical stuff costs" - no it's not. They tried to charge over $1000 for a simple urinalysis. These nurses do not care about patients and I genuinely don’t know why some of them went into health care. I read the other reviews after posting mine. I'm shocked to realize not everybody has the 5 star experience I had! Here's what I wrote: I recently fell and fractured my hip, which is how I happened to spend a week at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka. Went in tonight because I was and in pain and could barely walk . The ER was such a joke and wouldn’t listen to me about how I was feeling . This has been one of the worst hospital experiences i ever had . Very rude staff and even worse management (in the ER ) . I finally had enough and left after being talked to like I’m an idiot. They only care about money and not the people.
