The hospital was trying to figure out what was causing the stridor, but they weren’t actually doing any diagnostic tests—no swallow study, nothing. They did have a swallow pathologist, or somebody of that nature come in, a few times and Each day we just waited. He was on an NG tube, and eventually they allowed him 10 mL from a bottle. Overall, 5 star nicu. But I have to give it 4 stars because of my experiences I had while my baby was admitted. In general my babies care was awesome except for a few instances. But the whole time we were there, things were explained to us in great detail so we knew what to expect on a daily basis. Any questions we had, were answered. One of the biggest issues we had seemed to be night shift nurses. Obviously night shift is a while different ballgame than dayshift.
