Special thanks to the staff in the ER, especially to Lindsey💕 I am being taken care of so well!!
They are holding my father hostage because they refuse to sign a DNR
Business response:
Hello, Brenna. Has your father spoken with a patient advocate? Do you mind sending us a P/M, providing more information, including your father's name and room number, so we can have someone look into this further.
My wife was taken to Providence a while back for a legitimate medical issue. She was in so much pain that she couldn't talk and the lady at the desk was telling at her to talk. I tried to explain to her that she was in pain but I could explain her situation to them. The lady looked at me and yelled that my wife had to be the one to explain it and not me. After she was finally admitted she was only there for a day before she was discharged (she was supposed to be there for multiple days.) She was discharged early because the ... read more

I didn't see cleaning in-between patients in the ER waiting rooms and check in desks during covid. I had plenty of time to watch.
Business response:

very friendly and professional. with everything going on in the world right now they did their best to get me taken care of as fast as they could
Seriously Providence, why doesn’t your staff know the visit policy? The sign at the door says Guardians are approved visitors. Why I am being asked to leave? I am my dad’s guardian, he has advanced dementia and can’t provide any history or make his own decisions. What on earth?
Business response:
Hello, Dawn. We can understand your frustration that comes with these unprecedented times. Have you spoken with a care/patient advocate?
THIS WILL BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, all information can be provided by me in a phone call. I directly messaged my phone number and information on this case to hopefully get you to call me and look into chart notes to see evidence I provided, as well as the comment section of the original post on my page giving more information. YOUR social worker on duty was adamant she wouldn’t fail this victim after having extreme evidence to help her, she failed her and didn’t provide her safety that she promised she would.
Would not allow anyone to stay with my grandmother, who has Alzheimer's, before/after a surgical procedure. She gets easily confused and disoriented without someone with her to constantly answer questions and reassure her of what is going on. They would rather let her be terrified in an unknown place with unknown people than let a family member, who lives with her, be there for her. Shame on you Providence, we will make sure she never comes back here again!
By seeing people in a timely manner. My wife has been in the ER for more than 6 hours 5/12/20 and has yet to be seen. Unprofessional at best, negligent at least.
