I came here on March 12 after what I felt was mistreatment at St. Michael’s following my surgery. Most of the nurses here were kind and worked very hard. Some of them were a little laid back, but that was not the main problem for me. The biggest issue for me was OT, PT, and management. I understand that OT and PT oversee the discharge process and decide when a patient is ready to leave, and I was aware that my discharge day was coming. That part is reasonable. The Centre also includes a chapel, providing a peaceful space for patients to pray. It is readily available for priests to celebrate Mass for those receiving care.

I was not on site, but this is a review of the admin staff who were excellent to deal with. My grandmother was very concerned about her sister who is in long term care here at Providence. She hadn't received any news from her in about a month. With just a couple of phone calls I was able to connect my grandmother with an Patient Admin first and then a Nurse on the floor to be able to get details on her sister.
