I am deeply saddened hearing that this wonderful Dr lost his life on the mountain today. He was the very first Dr and only Dr that has ever taken the time to explain in detail and show pictures of what is wrong with me. It took 6 years and he explained it all to me in one day. I was scheduled to have a procedure done by him tomorrow morning. My heart goes out to his family. I am so very sorry for your lost.

We are over the top grateful to Dr. Wiseman for finding the source of a horrible 6 month physical ordeal. Every day for those 6 months, I suffered the worst diarrhea imaginable. It would come on with no notice and was violent in nature. As a result, I suffered soiled clothes and even surrounding areas (walls, floors...). Awful... The facility and office are fine. There's coffee and magazines in the waiting area. Wait times to be seen weren't bad and the staff were friendly and attentive enough. But due to my failed stomach surgery just 6 months into recovery, I cannot give Providence Hood River Surgery Center a glowing recommendation. This was a $50,000 surgery that cost me 10% of that amount out-of-pocket. Not to mention the stay in the hospital and a month away from work.
