I had a similar experience as others, a salesman told me about a $180 service which turned into almost $1000 over one year. I have never had to make so many customer service calls for a ************ were always disappointed. We also still have ants even though we completed the contracted 5 services. SO disappointed. Do not hire this company. Waste of money.

Eco Shield had two contacts that I was unaware of. I called to cancel but one contract was active with a $216 bill attached for service I didn’t want or nothing was done to my property. They state they tried to contact me in November saying the card I had on file was not active. Now, 4 months later they call and want this contract paid? While services rendered have been okay. The cancellation process of services is a nightmare. There is no ability to cancel service without talking to someone. On top of that, they are currently charging a $150 charge for what Im assuming is a cancellation fee. Asked them to cancel services through their texting service and they would not cancel, just threw a $150 charge my way. Business model does not give me the warm and fuzzies.

This company came out and claimed to be a small business that was in a near by town and trying to grow. This is not a small business, it has call centers in ***** and is a large business. Shield is guilty of unfair and improper business tactics. Severe told that if we signed a contract for one years worth of services we could then cancel our contract. After one year we called to cancel and were then told we needed to pay for two more services to complete our contract or we would have to pay a penalty for early termination. After arguing with them they said if we paid for one more service at a discounted rate we could then cancel without penalty. I think that if a business charges you for services they should do those services instead of not doing the services still charging you and when you want out of the contract because they haven't performed those services for you you should not have to pay the rest of the contract. The service sucked even after 2 treatments. I was told Id pay 175$ for the year. Quickly in 2 months I was paying 175$ per treatment. He said this business was a small business and he was needing people to help. My fault for falling for it. I called customer service to cancel and they wouldnt let me hang up and kept offering me deals I didnt want. Did not tell me 150$ would be charged if I cancelled due to the great rate they gave me. What the other reviewers have said is correct. The company spends a few minutes dusting around the house and then leaves. You could get better results yourself. I tried to canceling due to poor service and was transferred overseas. Once I got ahold of someone and communicated that I was going to stop my service I was transferred to another agent. That agent was extremely rude and refused to allow me to stop the service. After several minutes of yelling he finally was able to concede and stop the service.
