The property society is unfortunately not closed! This is a terrible company that no owner should allow to manager their property and every renter should avoid if they have the option. In reality they should be investigated by the City of Austin. Go look at Yelp and see their reviews! When we moved into our apt it was not cleaned, did not have a working toilet (property society didn't end up fixing it for a week), had leaking pipes underneath the kitchen sink, a roach problem and disgusting carpet. Met an agent to view two available units. The second one we walked into would have blown up if someone had lit a match. There was an obvious gas leak and the agent said she would have someone look into it. The rent we were told on the phone, $650.00, was a bait and switch. Found out after we took the time/gas to go see the unit that there was an additional $300+ per month that was charged for "taking care of the common areas".
