Worst propane company! Let me run out of propane in the coldest weather we have had in years. My account was set up as automatic delivery and they didn’t deliver on scheduled delivery per the automatic delivery date. I called and asked where my propane delivery was and they had no explanation then snow hit the next day and shutdown. The service rep James assured me I wouldn’t run out and put me under priority delivery. After I pay off my delivery bill which I made in small payments they came and refilled my tank again when I didnt need it yet and struggled to pay off I asked to only deliver when I call so then they charge me because I'm not on auto delivery when you call they will not work with you I live alone on disability they came and locked my tank I had to pay to get it unlocked my son paid my balance of 200 dollars and now I have a 300 dollar bill in collections when I called to find out why and ask for a break down of this 300.00 p... read more

Amerigas has got to be the worst company ever!! Between there lack of customer service, untimely deliveries and having to constantly call back and repeat conversations. Ive been fighting with them since Nov of 2020. finally got al set up and a delivery. Only took 3 1/2 weeks and many hrs of phone calls. Now in February (I called on Jan 27th) still waiting for promised delivery. Also waiting for service call. I guess they stay in business for all the big companies. Horrific company to try to work with. Couldn't get my tank filled after numerous attempts on the phone and on their web site. Hired another company. Now I can't get Amerigas to come and get their tank. I can't recall every dealing with a company as bad as this one.

Do not recommend!! We paid $587 for propane at 8 AM on Monday and now we are at 7% the lady said they would be out on Thursday. I called and talked to 2 people and they do not care. I recommend o small business that cares. We will be switching

Customer service is a joke! 83 year old dad with dementia ran out of propane and AmerGas wanted 300 dollars for next day delivery. 300 HUNDRED! Even though he has been a customer for many years! I take care of dad but have never dealt with propane and how long a tank last. They suck and only care about the money not their customers!

Horrible company now that it's centralized. We're on the auto-delivery plan, but have run out of gas and it turns out they haven't delivered for 4+ months. Cold showers and cold food until they get around to delivering again sometime in the next 10 days. No rush, of course, even with contacting them more than once. Thank god our heating is oil. And that last delivery in October? We had to call them then as well and badger for a delivery since we were down to 5% then. What's the point of automatically scheduled deliveries if ... read more

Service is absolutely the worst. 16+ days and still no delivery. I don’t care where you are, if Amerigas is the local provider, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

This company is the worst that I have ever dealt with. I am a automatic delivery customer. Request for delivery was requested on 2/5/2021. I have called 8 times for an expedited delivery starting 2/14/2021. Each time I was promised a delivery within 2 days or same day. Yesterday I was told the delivery truck was only a mile from my house and had only 2 deliveries before me. That was at 9:42 A.M. At noon, I still had not received the delivery.
