This company is crap. We spent HOURS and put in over a HUNDRED tickets to get someone to fill starting NOV 09 2020 till NOV 30 to finally get an answer that i had to fix my propane tank. I fixed it Dec 10th and it took till DEC 30th TO GET ANYONE TO COME VERIFY IT WAS FIXED! through that time i had to use electric heaters so my heat bill skyrocketed to $500! Even the technician that came and did the leak test said that I shouldn't have to pay for the propane but of course when i finally get my fill Jan 15 2021 I have to pay ... read more

Zero stars I cannot understand how they stay in business! I ordered, as a new customer, to fill a rented tank on Dec 21st in a new home and said they would be out in 7-10 days, no show! called as many as 7 times in a 6 week period, spent hours on hold, and just was promised it would be here same day or tomorrow at latest, still NEVER came! Finally cancelled on Feb 4th and went with a Local company ******* ***and they were out same day, delivered a new tank and filled it same day. Amerigas has become the absolute worst company to meet home hearing needs. They tell you to call when your at 30 precent but it takes them 3 weeks to deliver. Current I have prepaid for propane was told it would be delivered within a 2 week time frame. Called them because I was going to run out if they didn't deliver by the date they specified was told I was scheduled for delivery that day,. They never showed up. Customer service has no idea why. Been with out gas for a week now, ordered propane 3 weeks ago! Multiple phone calls, no help what so ever! Ever since they closed all the local offices amerigas went to crap! The centralized call service is bad, you will wait for over an hour to talk to anyone on the phone! One of the representatives finally came clean with us, amerigas has been telling their staff to lie to customers just to get them by another day without propane, they can not do anything but put it in a emergency "help ticket" just to make the customer to... read more

My great aunt lives in *******,ky she ordered her propane weeks before the ice and snow so she had to turn her heat down really low now she is in the hospital with possible pneumonia ***!!!! Cause it was so cold in her house... and all you get is a *******computer to talk to

WOST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME!!! Takes over 40 mins to get anyone on the phone and then they don't follow through with what they say. Their techs over charge and seem irritated to come perform any service and apparently nobody from the office even explained to them why they were coming out. NEVER USE AMERIGAS!!!!

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I moved into a new house in November whose previous owners used Amerigas. I could not contact the company to set up a new account with them. Whenever I would call there would be an outrageous wait time, generally in excess of 90 minutes. A few times I actually tried to wait out that wait time on hold, only to be disconnected. I have had a new propane company since November and have not been able to get Amerigas to pick up their propane tanks which still sit... read more

Their custom service is Terrible to non existent. I ordered propane when my tank was at 30% and that was two and a half weeks ago. Now I have been out for several days. I have called 3 times now to find out when it is getting delivered and have gotten three different answers. I will be looking for another supplier.
