I love it here!! – After apartment hunting throughout the entire North County, I thought i was going to have to live in a crappy run down apartment where I would be scared to walk outside at night by myself. This place is different. The office staff is very nice and have gone the extra mile to make sure we got a great place. We saw a place in Carlsbad that was more expensive but after doing a walk through decided right away it was crap compared to Prominence. Convenient Location With Many Nice Amenities – My wife and I moved from San Diego because I got a job in Carlsbad and wanted to be closer to work. After looking at several communities in San Marcos, Vista, and Oceanside, Prominence Apartments offered a variety of floor pans, nice amenities, and reasonable pricing. Beautiful place with horrible service – This is probably the nicest apartments in all north county San Diego but the service is horrible.Im a reasonable and pleasant guy who makes a very good living.Yet they treat you like you are beneath them or like you live in the hood even though rent is around 1700-1900 for a 2 bedroom.There is always dog feces on the sidewalk.They still owe me money for a week of rent i payed for and my apartment was not ready on time.Of course they conveniently say there's no record of it, but if you ... read more
Moved in! – Well my husband is in the Military and we had to move clean across the United States to move in. So we had no idea what we were getting until we got here! When we got to the Apartment it was exactly what they advertised! The people in the front main office were extremly nice and understaning due to our situation, in working with us! DO NOT MOVE HERE -- EMAIL ME FOR DETAILS – Like just about every other person who's commented, my experience at Prominence has been terrible and far and away the worst experience with any company's managerial team that I've ever encountered within any business of any kind. For one, I've received letters claiming I have a dog (I don't) and trying to backdate charges of over $800. AWFUL customer service – I looked at Prominence in December and really loved. I had a really nice leasing agent who showed me many floor plans to help me find the best fit. When I returned a few months later with my roommate, I was expecting the same great service. However, when we walked in the door we were rudly greeted by a female staff member. TRUST ME, DON'T MOVE IN TO THIS APARTMENT – When I was looking for an apartment, I thought this one was the best. But when I moved in, I thought wrong. The first day I moved in, they told me everything was ready, BUT IT WASN'T! The refrigerator wasn't working for a week, mailbox key wasn't given to me for two weeks, AC/heater control didn't work for a week, and the carpet wasn't cleaned.
