I was not even examined, the nurse just took my blood pressure and weight. And then the doctor came in (male don’t know his name because he didn’t introduce him self) he just asked what was going on I said “I have been sick for THREE WEEKS and just getting worse. I have had on and off fever, nauseous, having a hard time breathing, coughing up green stuff and just feeling like I can’t sleep enough” and I work with kids so I’m worried about getting them sick. Every time I go here which isn’t often, I am treated like I am bothering them. yesterday I went in with continued chest congestion, wheezing and cough after finishing a Zpac. I was told by the Aprn that the Xpac takes longer to work, and she didn’t think I had pneumonia, but if I wanted a chest X-ray I could get one. Then proceeded to ask me where to get one? Usually very quiet and not busy. No appointment necessary. I like it.
Here's a heartwarming story. I go to the walk-in on September 1 with upper stomach discomfort/pain. I'm seen fairly quickly. The nurse is pleasant enough, takes my vitals and that is all well and good. Then the nurse practitioner (Ravn Bharara APRN) comes in. I explain my symptoms. She asks me what I believe it is. Well, I don't know. That's why I'm at the walk-in. I do know SOMETHING is wrong, I just don't know what that something is. I think maybe gallbladder related. Front desk staff nice enough. Medical assistant talked over me every time I tried to speak and the doctor barely looked at me or listened to my medical history before telling me to take some ibuprofen and walk out of the room. I am very disappointed after being a patient next door for over 15 years with Dr. Bryant and an ongoing medical issue, that his office would refer me to go there. Only gave one star because I couldn't give none!
