Bought a Pro-Guard 4 warrantee for my Range Rover. Differential went a year into owning the vehicle. Pro-guard sent a used part with 50K miles on it for the repair. This part comes with no documented inspection, no validation the part is good. A critical part of the drive train. Stay away from this company. My second vehicle had a similar repair and used a refurbished part with 0 miles no issues great customer service, NOT the Pro-guard experience for sure. This is the worst warranty coverage I have ever experienced. My vehicle needed a rear differential and was brought in on February 21st, 2025. The part took 10 days to arrive and upon installation is turned out to be a faulty part. I am now still waiting for the part that was supposed to be delivered today, but isn't shipping out until tomorrow. This will be a month that my vehicle has been out of service. Proguard told me they would pay $200 for a rental for 4 days. WTF??!!
Our Mom and Pop dealership has had great success with this extended warranty company. We chose this particular organization as our "GO TO" company to provide the peace of mind that we and all customers need when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. I have been selling cars for 30 years and we had several warranty companies and none have them come close to ProGuard. They pay claims when needed and our rep, Becky, is amazing! She is available anytime that we have questions and makes she makes things happen if needed.
