I love Progress House and what they stand for and how they have the program set up. I went to P House back in 2015. From the staff to the people you meet at the meetings and the brothers you have while your there is a blessing in itself. I listened to the staff and did things out of my comfort zone and I had an open mind about the spiritual part of recovery!!! I stayed at the Progress House for 5 months. It was absolutely instrumental in my ability to stay sober. It was the foundation to my sobriety and gave me the tools I use every day.
PROGRESS HOUSE IS A AMAZING PLACE FOR MEN TO TURN THERE LIFES AROUND THE GOOD ENERGY AND LOVE I FELT FROM THE MOMENT I WALKED THROUGH THE DOORS WAS LIKE NONE I HAD EVER FELT AND MUCH NEEDED AT A TIME WHEN I WASNT SURE HOW TO LOVE MYSELF THE TOOLS AND GUIDANCE I RECIEVED WERE DETRIMENTAL TO TURNING MY LIFE AROUND AND MAKING IT INTO A LIFE WORTH LIVING I CONTINUE TO ATTEND MEETINGS AT THE PROGRESS HOUSE AND TRY TO GIVE BACK WHAT HAS BEEN SO FREELY GIVIN TO ME
I came to the Progress House in march 2017. When i got their i had never worked a step, never been to a meeting, and didnt know what a sponcer was. My life was unmanageable! Progress House and staff helped me be become a productive member of society a loving father, a good friend and a loving caring son. Thanks to the help from Progress House i have 522 Days Clean and Sober!!

Honestly there not enough room on this page to try to even explain what and how the progress house did done and does in my life .they helped lay a foundation in me finding an almighty God my higher power, they showed what true friendships and brotherhood means .they taught me a love I never knew ! I have been involved with Progress House for eighteen years, and I don't believe that its primary purpose has changed much since I lived there in 2000-2001. I was offered a safe, drug-and-alcohol-free environment where I learned how to live sober by applying a Twelve Step program to my life. With help from staff, a good sponsor, and many alumni volunteers, I learned how to be a sober, useful member of society. My gratitude toward Progress House is bottomless. I came out of jail and off the streets threw my drug and alcohol addiction. Progress House has shown me what my real problem was while providing me with a safe and secure tools to excel not only online but with in my own heart as well.
