Had a blast! Went with a group of friends and truly enjoyed shopping and eating. A must do again very soon!

My Eliza Sanchez and I love to go have lunch at Rene's Restaurant & Bakery. We have always tried their delicious Milanesa. The sweet bread also looks great and there is all ways a bit of room for a few pieces. Cold Beer OMG it good and cold. We then stop and get his & hers pedicures at a place called Beauty Shop Bella's...ladies are very friendly and their business nice and clean. Had been years since I'd been to progreso. Nothing has changed and I did feel safe
I have been going to Progresso for the years and always enjoy drinking at the Panty Bar. I take a pocket full of change to buy trinkets from children and have my shoes polished. I always find people to converse with specially winter Texans. Etc.
Great experience. The people truly are very friendly and helpful. I had the most amazing tamales on the street. I came here for dental work by Dr. Cesar Cabrera (Ste. 14 in the plaza to the left immediately after you cross the bridge). This is SO MUCH better than getting work done in the US. I drove in from Dallas on the recommendation of a family member. Dr. Cabrera is a cosmetic magician and works so hard to make sure you're comfortable and no pain!
