For my first experience here I have no complaints. I was taken back quickly, and I felt like Jennifer was on track with my plan on coming down off my meds. I liked her blunt yet medically relevant candor and opinions. Nice to have a provider care for you while being honest.
Office staff is incompetent. Their system just switched and has caused many issues with scheduling and appointments being cancelled without warning. They cannot figure out how to get my medicine right/ contact our insurance. I’ve gone 3 plus weeks without being on medication due to their office staff incompetence. Highly do not recommend the staff at this place. Also let’s not fail to mention their lead Dr (psychiatrist) here who failed to tell me a diagnosis let alone even medicate me for it.. he also was telling me to spli... read more
This place is terrible. My son was over medicated and ended up with serotonin syndrome. Even after learning that he had it, the so called Psychiatrist which was really an RN, prescribed him with Prozac which is a serotonin inhibitor and that made him even sicker. His life has been drastically affected do to this. He is not on any medication and seeing a therapist that is actually helping him. DO NOT USE this facility. My sons primary care Dr is outraged they did this to him.
As a minority, I would stay away from this place. Since Dr. Whitaker left, I have had nothing but mediocre care, dismissed and disregarded. Ginger Hacker is not equipped or understanding enough when it comes to providing care to minority patients. She has been nothing but dismissive concerning issues related to discrimination. In my situation, she continuously disregarded the fact that my workplace experiences and dealing with racism in the workplace was the main contributor to my symptoms.
