Poor Poor Property Management Do not even think about renting from them rent is $50 lower than market average but don't expect to get your deposit back and that alone make it not worth it to live in a run down hardly cared for apartment they were unbelievably rude very bad service from a very bad miserable employee's I should read there reviews before I sign the lease the apartment was dirty when I got it Floor tiles coming out of the floor I had no heat for 3 weeks and finally I couldn't stay there till the end of my lease.... read more
Pet deposits are frickin ridic Wow, so, I have never rented from PPM, but I sent them an inquiry email this week about what their pet policy would be for 2 cats in an unfurnished apartment at a specific property. They promptly responded and said (quote):
I'd rather rent from a mob Dont even think of renting from these people, not even if you are desperate. To start with, everyone in the office is really bitter. And there are totally inflexible, not even on simple things. The rents are reasonable, that is probably because they hold some really old and distressed properties. The unit we rented was fairly ok. Nancy, their boss is a real piece of work. She is rude, obnoxious and unprofessional. They have a really LONG lease document that says every single thing you can do or can... read more
Horribly rude, inflexible, impersonal. A TERRIBLE landlord. This company does not work at all at making a real home for their tenants. If you need to make any changes in your living situation, or need to be even one day late with rent, they don't care. They are totally inflexible, and instead of making a simple phone call, they pound on your door with written notices with big threatening letters. Avoid PPM, otherwise, you will be in trouble DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AT ALL! I would rather live on the street than dealing with these people. They do not understand business. It was always extremely difficult to communicate with them, not to mention negotiation. We had MANY MANY horrible experiences with PPM. Just put one here. The furnace was leaking gas, and they did not do anything about it until we had to hire a professional to examine the furnace. And then we reported this problem to Illinois Power. Miserable, awful company - STAY AWAY!!! Please, please, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all cost. They are rude, vindictive, difficult to work with, unreasonable, and I'll just say it, evil. They are horrible people, I don't know how they sleep at night.
