Get the "Undertow." Simple syrup, hot espresso, and cold milk taken as a single shot. Great warm/cold thing going on. To be drunk on premises only.
Good pour over coffee and a great place to study.
Cute staff, and best macchiato in the neighborhood. The raisin rolls don't hurt either.

Skilled baristas
A cute café with a handful of seats serving up excellent coffee and a few sweet treats. The coffee beans are roasted in Brooklyn, and sourced from fair-trade organizations.
Great pour over, nice baristas, but no bathroom
One of my fave places in NYC. Wonderful staff, a place to hang out, bring your dog and chill. Epitome of a neighborhood coffee place.
Hands down, my favorite place for espresso drinks in NYC. Get a cortado and enjoy the hardwork of others. Went here on my wedding day, foursquare should tag prodigy as "good for wedding days"
