Update: After my original review, the pharmacy followed up with me directly and worked to resolve the issue. There was a delay with the processing of my compounded prescription, which had originally been sent on 2/23, and it took longer than expected to be filled and shipped. However, once the situation was addressed, the staff was responsive and ensured I received the medication. It has been five days since my prescription for a compounded antibiotic sinus rinse was submitted. Despite multiple calls, I am repeatedly told the pharmacy is waiting on billing/insurance. This is not a cosmetic or optional medication. Sinus infections involve structures directly adjacent to the brain and can cause significant pain, headaches, and cognitive symptoms. The lack of urgency and communication has been disappointing. Patients dealing with infection deserve timely coordination and clear updates.
