We have used Pro Tec a number of times and have always been highly satisfied with the results. Johnny has been our technician 3 of the 4 times we’ve needed service and has always provided quality work. Will definitely call Pro Tec again.
We had a small leak in the copper fittings before the hose bib leading to our water heater. We agreed to a $189 after hours service call. We were told any work would be on top of that. What we were not told was that though it took the tech 15 minutes to tighten a compression fitting, we would be charged a miscellaneous hourly fee of $300. So $489 for and after hours visit with a quick, simple fix. Johnny and Pat were diligent and did a good job.
My renter, an elderly man with cognitive issues, offered to purchase a new kitchen sink and faucet if I would pay for the labor. I gave him the name of a plumbing company ( Four Way Plumbing in Port Charlotte, Fl. ) that I have used several times and have been satisfied. Unknown to me, Four Way has since become affiliated with Pro-Tec. My renter scheduled an appointment and a Pro-Tec plumber did the work. I haven't seen the work so I can't speak as to its quality.
