Jim was likeable and thorough but I think he charged me extra for a problem he caused. In doing the plumbing hook up he damaged an elbow. The extra charge wasn't steep but it was the principle of it. Before he repaired it, he showed me the leak. And I pointed out to him that elbow was not leaking prior to him arriving. His installation caused it. I even fed him lunch before he hit me with the extra charge. So far the new water heater is holding up. He does give you a 1 year warranty on the installation.
Jim is a really likeable and responsive guy - we've called him several times. Thanks for the referral! He also endorsed Home Advisors and told us how rigorous the vetting is, which made us more comfortable using them to hire another contractor for another service.
Jim was very professional presented me with a very reasonable estimate, Arrive for the job there were no surprises. He worked quickly and did EXACTLY what he promised.

My 40+ years in service plumbing would have shown she is wrong, and, for almost 20 years, I have been a state licensed master plumber. She didn't like the price so she gave me a half star. Doesn't seem fair. The policy will drive good plumbers away.
